Terms & Conditions of Sale

These Terms and Conditions as listed below apply to a Contract of Purchase of goods by the customer, and of Sale of Goods by Seat to Sleep.

The Seat to Sleep website and seattosleep.co.uk net operation are operated by Seat to Sleep, registered in England and Wales, Company number: 11420579, VAT number: 438477164.

These Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Placing Orders

Placing orders for products from the Seat to Sleep website confirms your acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

For the avoidance of doubt please note that it is the sole responsibility of the customer to be familiar with these Terms and Conditions prior to placing his or her order.

Occasionally, the Terms and Conditions are changed without prior notification.

Order Acknowledgment

An acknowledgment of your order will be sent by email on placement of that order. This email acknowledges our receipt of the order, and is a confirmation of goods ordered only, it does not constitute acceptance or confirmation to supply the ordered goods.

Order Confirmation

An order confirmation email will be sent to the customer when the order is dispatched. This email confirms our acceptance of the order.

Payment

Payment for orders is taken from the Debit/Credit card as supplied by the customer at time of placing the order. Where Seat to Sleep cannot supply the goods ordered, the customer will be contacted as soon as possible and will receive full refund of payment taken by return. Acceptance of the customer's order and completion of the Contract of sale will take place on dispatch of goods ordered by customer unless customer's order has been canceled beforehand by the customer or Seat to Sleep has notified the customer that their order placed has not been accepted.

Prices

Seat to Sleep will at all times try to ensure that prices and product details on the website are accurate, however inaccuracies and errors may occur. Where such errors or inaccuracies are discovered, Seat to Sleep will inform the customer immediately and the customer will be given the option to re-confirm or to cancel his or her order.

If Seat to Sleep is unable to contact the customer the order will be treated as cancelled.

All prices quoted on the Seat to Sleep online store include the then current UK Value Added Tax rate where applicable.

Seat to Sleep reserves the right to change its prices at any time.

Please note that certain styles may vary in price when produced in different colours.

Consumer rights of Cancellation

Customers are entitled to cancel their Contract at any time within fourteen days, beginning on the day after customer received his or her order, this is in accordance with Distance Selling Legislation. To cancel a Contract, the customer must inform Seat to Sleep in writing. The customer must return the product(s) to us immediately, in the same condition in which the customer received them and in the original packaging.

The customer has a legal obligation to take reasonable care of the products while they are his or her possession and for the duration of return shipment to Seat to Sleep. If the customer fails to comply with this obligation, Seat to Sleep may exercise its rights for compensation from the customer.

Returns & Refunds Policy

When the customer returns Product(s) meeting all the conditions as stated in Consumer rights of Cancellation above:(a) because the customer has cancelled the Contract of sale within fourteen days (which is in accordance with your consumer rights, see above), Seat to Sleep will process the refund due to the customer as soon as possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day the customer has given notice of cancellation. Customers will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us.(b) for any other reason (for instance, because the customer claims that the product is defective), Seat to Sleep will examine the returned product and will notify the customer of the outcome of the examination via e-mail within a reasonable period of time. Seat to Sleep will process any refund due to the customer as soon as reasonably possible and, in any case, within 30 days of the day Seat to Sleep confirmed to the customer via e-mail that customer is entitled to a refund for the returned product. Products returned by the customer because of a defect will be refunded in full, including a refund of the delivery charges for sending the item to the customer, plus, the reasonable cost incurred by customer in returning the item to Seat to Sleep. Seat to Sleep will usually refund any money received from the customer using the same method originally used by the customer to pay for the purchase.

Debit/Credit Card Payment

When placing an order, the customer must provide the address registered with his or her debit/credit card company. To process orders in the most efficient manner, Seat to Sleep requests the customer provides the land line telephone number of the debit/credit holder, only to be used when resolving queries. All transactions are processed securely by SQUARE PAYMENTS from whom the customer will receive an email notification of payment. Seat to Sleep accepts payment by Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Maestro and Delta.

Website Images

Seat to Sleep always endeavours to make sure that images displayed on its website are a fair and proper representation of the product offered. However it is impossible to guarantee that the colours of the products as displayed on the customer's monitor, will exactly match those of the actual products delivered.
